What happened in the Sago mine

At least four of the miners' air packs did not function, so McCloy shared his own rescuer with another miner, and the miners trapped with him shared theirs with the other three men whose own devices did not work.

1. God bless these men for behaving so selflessly in a life-or-death situation.

2. Shame on the Sago mine owners/operators for sending men in with not just insufficient but broken lifesaving equipment! These guys deserve not just to get their butts sued off, but to be charged with negligent homicide in the deaths of those miners.
