Attacker may walk because of jurisdictional gaffe

Read it and rage: The Boundaries of Justice.

A man convicted of a heinous sexual assault on a 9-year-old girl in 1980 may be freed -- because though he kidnapped the child in Maryland, he crossed the state line into Pennsylvania before torturing her. This guy is truly scary. How can we keep him locked up, where he can't harm any more children?

(P.S. If you need a password to get in, go to BugMeNot and get one.)
